Place your cooked ham in a large pot and cover it with the tasty liquid of your choice such as beer, a mixture of water and brown sugar, or even maple syrup. Then add an acidic liquid such as a white wine, vinegar, or soy sauce. For even more flavour in every bite, add fine herbs and spices. Don't forget the pepper! Bring to aboil and simmer on low for at least half an hour.
Tip: purchasing dried herbs is an even more affordable and simple way to season your ham. And as a bonus, you'll have some on hand for future recipes!
