How to find local products in stores? It's easy! Look for the pricing labels.
Québec products – Look for the pricing labels.
In addition to offering families in Quebec the best of Quebec at a super price, Super C is proud to offer an intuitive locating system to easily identify local products in every section and aisle. For Quebec products, just look for the blue labels that are on the shelves in store and that have an Aliments du Québec logo.
To be considered an Aliments du Québec, any product entirely made from ingredients sourced in Quebec or made of a minimum of 85 % Quebec-based ingredient. All the processing and packaging activities must have taken place in Quebec.
To be considered an Aliments préparés au Quebec, a product must be processed and packaged entirely in Quebec and made from Quebec and/or imported ingredients. When the product's main ingredients are available in Quebec in sufficient quantities, these must be used instead of imported ingredients.
A produit d'ici product is any fruit or vegetable grown in Quebec.
A Product of Quebec is any manufactured product for which at least 85% of the direct costs related to the purchase of inputs, their processing, and their assembly are incurred in Quebec. Additionally, the final substantial transformation of the product must be carried out in Quebec.
A product Made in Quebec is any manufactured product for which the final transformation of the product is carried out in Quebec.
A product Designed in Quebec is any manufactured product for which the labor involved in design and conception activities is entirely based in Quebec.
