Puff pastry, balsamic vinegar, melting brie and prosciutto come together harmoniously in this tasty holiday appetizer that kicks off the festivities with a salivating mouthful!

  • 1 square frozen puff pastry dough sheet (1/2 pack of 400g), thawed
  • 1 200 g Artisan Irresistibles double cream brie cheese
  • 5 mL (1 teaspoon) fresh thyme, chopped
  • 1 egg yolk, whisked with a bit of water
  • 4 prosciutto slices
  • 15 mL (1 tablespoon) balsamic vinegar glaze
  • 15 mL (1 tablespoon) toasted pine nuts (optional)
